Create a Frame and apply Grid Column Layout

Add a Frame

• Select a preset, Macbook Pro 14"

Layout Grid

• Click +

• We want Vertical Grid, that divides the pages in several columns.

• Most widely used layout is 12 column grid

• 12 is a multiple of 3,4,6

• Change from Grid to Column

• Enter Count to 12

• Margins - 140px

Adjust the spacing between columns

• Gutter - Default is 20px
• Change it to 30px

Show/Hide Layout Grids

• Show -> Layout Grids

• Shortcuts -> Shift + G ( Windows )

Set background color

• Select the object
• Fill -> Choose a color

Adjust the color of the grid

• Select the Layout Grid
• Change Color
